17th March 2012
Derby Movie Makers are excited to announce that the CEMRIAC Movie Festival will take place on Sunday 25th March 2012 at the Derby Conference Centre.
The Festival is a showcase for non commercial and amateur filmmakers from across the Central and East Midland regions.
The judge this year is Paul Kittel. Paul is a freelance television Producer-Director who has been making factual documentaries for the major broadcasters for the past 14 years. His films range from cop shows to medical programmes, and from current affairs to light-hearted observational documentaries. He's been in the thick of car chases, heists and murder scenes.
Paul will use the morning session to talk about documentary making.
The movie festival will follow lunch. With a maximum running time of 20 minutes, films vary widely in genre, including documentary, drama and comedy productions. With some 25 entries in this years Festival, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone to enjoy.
Festival tickets are available on the day, priced £10.00.
